Well we have been here and associated with you all from May 1st, 2014 for the good. We all know that Comrade Foundation is an youth volunteer organisation that works for the betterment of the society through the betterment education but did you know that our logo is made up of our name? 

The alphabets C-O-M-R-A-D-E. Here it goes!

Organ Donation Day

Comrade Foundation is happy to announce that our next project is <3 1000 Hearts <3 aimed at creating awareness about Organ Donation & also enrolling at least a 1000 donors across the three regions in which we work namely Dindigul, Chennai & Coimbatore.

Although there are some great inspirations like A.P.Hithendran amongst us the taboo associated with Organ donation is still high in our country. Unlike many Western countries where 70-80% of the people pledge their organs, in India only 0.01% people pledge their organs. This is mainly due to religious & superstitious beliefs. In order to break the present status we will be actively campaigning & creating awareness on the issue of organ donation on August 6th, 2014 the Organ Donation Day!

The project is still in preparation phase & the exact date, time & venue of the function is yet to be finalised.
